One step closer to a Fascist regime...
So, today anti-war hero Cindy Sheehan was arrested for doing something awful and horrible: protesting.
Yes, when I first heard this, I was also outraged. How dare she protest? She acts like she has some right to peaceably assemble in groups! And what of her citing the "First Amendment?" Silly Cindy, freedom's for the rich!
But seriously folks, Cindy Sheehan, enemy to war loving conservatives everywhere, was arrested this morning for not having a permit to protest her totalarion government. Riiiiggghhhtttt.
"Bush is 'very much aware of the people here who have come to Washington, some to express support for the steps that we're taking and a number of others that have expressed a different view,' McClellan said.'"It's the right of the American people to peacefully express their views.'"
Oops, the Admin seemed to have contradicted themselves again! While pretending to side with freedom, McClellan never sides with the reality that Sheehan was seized by the pigs for an unjust reason.
"...arrested on Monday at a White House sit-in after she refused to obey police orders to leave."
So, the police, smelling anti-violence campqigns afoot, headed to the scene, and arrested Sheehan. Yet,tons of people have commited acts of violence towards gays or Muslims, only to have a blind eye turned to them.
America's just went further into the cesspool.

At this point Sheehan's only doing it for publicity. She did exactly the wrong thing after her son was killed: she became absorbed into the liberal brigade. It's almost as fucked and annoying as the conservatives. Of course this is coming from a person whose politics usually abstain from total organized politics. I generally side with liberal ideals much more than conservative ones, but still. You know it's a different world than it was in Vietnam, so the liberals should probably start thinking of more updated protest tactics.
Totalitarian government, my ass. It's just a very incompetent one. Don't go over your head.
