Indiana Anarchists on Strike!

Purdue University
Lafayette, Indiana, USA
Anarchist students of the Purdue Alliance of Libertarian Socialists, in solidarity with the Purdue Organization of Labor Equality and the oppressed workers of the world, are currently engaged in a hunger strike and camp-in, the purpose of which is to pressure Purdue University to stop having its apparel maunfactured in sweatshops. The hunger strike, which began on Friday, 17 November, will continue until Purdue unequivocally accepts the Designated Suppliers Program and other anti-sweatshop measures. Students have also been occupying various campus buildings 24 hours a day despite intense police harrassment. The occupation will continue throughout the Thanksgiving holiday.

Students at Purdue have been struggling for 7 years now to make Purdue a sweat-free campus. This campaign is our “piece de resistance.” We will not stop our strike until our demands are met.

THE PURDUE ALLIANCE OF LIBERTARIAN SOCIALISTS NEEDS THE HELP OF OUR COMRADES THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY AND THE WORLD!

Good post. There has been more libertarian/anarchist organizing lately.

It was shocking too, to hear of it in Indiana. I've lived here all my life and have never, ever heard of a strong anarchist/socialist attraction, since most of the state is very right wing, but also very poor. You'd think people would see the connection.

Kaibear, I am starting to tear up just reading this. Your enthusiasm and your radical mind. It all sets the stakes at how I fell in love with you. I wish things were the same as they used to, but all things change and yeah its sad, but hey we all have to go through it.

I love you, and just know I knew you and loved you more than anyone before. And I still do, but just think of who loves you more and who has been here literally through everything.

Protests is the right of the students but they should not to damage the property of the people. By: cheap dissertation writing service
